Great place to grow a career!

Pros

New Home Star is a great place to grow your career and meet great people along the way! If you speak up about things that you'd like to see changed or concerns, they will take it into consideration and it really feels like your voice is being heard.

Cons

Not so much a con, but the company is growing rapidly and while we are creating more sales opportunities I would love to see similar growth to the corporate office and the career path within the corporate office!

Horrible Excuse for a Pyramid Scheme

There are no pros to working here

Cons

This company preys on inexperienced sales people and pays them less than half of the industry standard. By the time the new hires figure it out, they already have too much money entangled in "future commissions" to walk away. The company will constantly lie and change the rules to keep digging their greedy paws into your earned commissions. They treat their employees like slaves, demanding that you be available 24/7, while paying them 0.75% commission on real estate transactions, sales agents can make at LEAST 2% selling homes anywhere else without having to worry about their employer taking their commissions from them, there is no reason to ever apply or work here. They will also constantly shove their political beliefs down your throat so if you do apply here, I hope you have the same views as them, otherwise good luck.

Pros

At NHS we are a family and everyone is so supportive. The training is out of this world. We have a portal with thousands of training resources. There is lots of room to grow and move up which is amazing.

Cons

I would love to see more steps in the career path or classes like LDP/MENSA allowing people not quite ready to be a sales manager or director opportunities to grow. Especially, if they don't get into MENSA or LDP.
