Pros

The company gives opportunities to people who are looking to get into the New Home Sales Industry without a lot of experience, Construction training is good and the models are beautiful.

Cons

NHS is a cult based company, if you aren't apart of the inner circle then your chances at being successful here are very slim. Management places agents in locations based off of race instead of being fair and giving everyone a equal opportunity . The training is absolutely HORRIBLE! The Director likes to play mind games and find out your personality traits so he can manipulate you. 1099 position and no benefits . I wouldn't recommend this company Unless you're very desperate and you want all of the challenges against you, then it may be a great fit for you.

Pros

For the most part, a fairly positive culture and there is potential to make good money - IF you are fortunate enough get oversight of a good account. Upper management was supportive of my efforts and was willing to provide me with the necessary tools.

Cons

They promise a ton but definitely fell short in my case. Very much a 'drinking the kool-aid' type of organization. Managers / corporate all had the same cult-like adherence to their proprietary terminology/processes and a similar reverence for their CEO. You are also heavily encouraged to engage/post with what can best be described as a company 'Facebook.' Personally, I thought it had the vapidity of the worst of Facebook timelines with a kitschy 'home-selling' flair. They evaluate people based on their level of interaction with it, so naturally it is saturated with hollow posts and comments. The worst thing in my opinion, however, is their deference for roleplaying. They'd have mandatory make-believe sessions where they'd evaluate how well you followed their selling processes with a prospect. I don't think anybody liked it or that it really brought any value beyond encouraging people to ask the right questions. Also, if you have little patience for false-positivity, you will find the job culture to be overwhelmingly saccharine.
