Switched to a consumption based model. I believe in New Relics innovation and strategy.
Cons
The culture has become watered down and less connected. New Relics strategy does not trickle down effective to different orgs. Recent restructuring has created gaps with unqualified VP's and Directors that do not have a grasp on what it takes to operate.
-Great people
-Competitive benefits and salary
-Work life balance is a priority
-Did I mention the great people?
-I've never worked for a better company
Cons
Leadership quality can be inconsistent. I've had some excellent leaders, and some less than excellent leaders.
Career development can be a mixed bag depending on the role you are in.
It was the people, but most of the top talent have left or been driven out by terrible C-level leadership decisions.
Cons
CEO got complacent, let early success go to his head, and competitors ate his lunch. Rather than owning this failure, he doubled down on bad strategy decisions and blamed employees, and surrounded himself with yes-people. The decline was rapid, messy, and well-covered in the press.
