Toxic Certainty Syndrome is prevalent in many teams. You will be expected to either follow along, or be labeled "a poor cultural fit" As others have mentioned, there is a widespread (and actively protected) passive-aggressive culture, where direct communication is not valued, but rather, punished. You will only realize things are bad, after it's too late. Several "leaders" mis-represented roles, and will aggressively attempt to pressure you to conform to the role they want you to do. Many individuals backstab others, while lying (passive aggressively) to their face. Underperforming individuals are not let go, just simply reassigned, left to wreak havoc on others, without any consequences
