Great culture, not so good management

Pros

Employees live by the values of the company and it’s a part of everything - performance reviews, kudos, etc. People are really genuine and it’s easy to make meaningful connections. Flexible work policy, great benefits. DE&I is executed wonderfully.

Cons

The company started cutting budgets significantly and it was felt by everyone. A lot of gossip that the company will be acquired soon. Management is poor in behavior. Lacks accountability, ability to communicate, ability to lead their employees effectively. Depending on the team, there’s very little career growth (if at all) although they preach growing your career at the company.

- benefits - paycheck - genuinely awesome colleagues - you can be 100% yourself

Cons

- engineer-driven company with no standards for processes; each VP silo does their own thing - design org is the scapegoat for deficiencies created by the VP silos, while engineers and product can do no wrong - product partners are date driven and don't include customers in the process - depending on where you are in the company, your experience can be amazing or it can be awful - micromanagement from c-suite - budget cuts to the point of no culture building beyond Slack channels - no alignment or north start amongst the c-suite
