Could have been great...

Pros

The friendships and the CEO

Cons

The new additions within upper management has really ruined what was and could have been an amazing company. No support. It's clear that certain c-level executives have no care about anyone lower than them. They only acknowledge people above them and take credit for the teams that actually does all of the work. There's no communication which is awful when decisions are made and you can't do anything but watch things fall apart.

Used to be amazing.

Pros

Snacks are decent. There are still a few smart, motivated employees left at New Relic.

Cons

The once amazing culture at New Relic is gone and most of the employees who were passionate about the company and it's success have left. The company preaches it's values but has long stopped hiring those who are good culture fits. Marketing was once the most respected team in the company and is now ineffective and lackluster due to a new CMO who is disliked by most of the company and has managed to kill a once well-loved, irreverent, creative brand.

Pros

The people are great and the snacks are sometimes good. The product is awesome. The CEO is the best part of this company which I can't say about many places I've worked for. He has heart and cares about his products.

Cons

Complete lack of communication in Marketing from Execs and VPs. There's not really a sense of 'team' from the top down. It's every man for himself. Curious to see how well a brand can succeed and evolve when the entire brand team was eliminated.
