      Yearly Layoff and Lack of Career Growth

      Pros

      It’s remote friendly and not as fast paced as startup.

      Cons

      Let’s start with the yearly layoffs in April for GTM and November for Product/ Engineering. Company cannot offer stock after PE ownership. It’s a really toxic workplace due to checked out senior leadership and inexperienced middle management. No COLA. New hires are not getting competitive pay anymore. Hiring has moved to India.

      Terrible leadership, no strategy, managing by spreadsheet

      Pros

      The people you meet are generally nice, but most are resigned to the way things are. The compensation is acceptable but not exceptional, as it lacks RSUs or stock options.

      Cons

      The leadership team is completely out of touch with reality, has no vision and is solely trying to hit board numbers to be able to sell the company and get compensated. There is no culture to speak of. There are no resources for anything, tools are being taken away or replaced with cheap versions, teams are offshored, and in general, morale is not great. They don't invest in in-person offsites, planning, or anything else. It's a top-down management, which is not the tech norm, and it's essentially micromanaging everything you do. They keep trying to reinvent who they are with messaging without the product to back it up. If you're thinking of joining this place, DON'T!
