I was advised on the first day-by someone pretty high up, to “get your experience and get out as soon as you can”
Pros
Always had an amazing group of coworkers.
Cons
Management micro manages while contributing absolutely nothing. They routinely give employees a hard time about getting up from their desk, or even going to the bathroom. It’s very much a “keep your head down and never stop working and be grateful that you have a whole 30 minute lunch” vibe. Management never helped customers, even when there were hundreds of callers waiting, hour long wait times, and only 15 employees on. They continuously created convoluted policies that avoided dealing with the core issues that customers were having, and then had the nerve to complain that representatives were taking too long in assisting those irate customers. They sat around gossiping while yelling across the office to specific employees that they were taking too long. The company tries really hard to tell you that they love to promote from within, but they would constantly hire from outside over promoting anyone. They severely look down on, and extremely undervalue the customer service department. Their policies around employee time off are ridiculous and inflexible. You schedule your vacation time at the beginning of the year so they can approve it. The second you run out of the small allotment of personal/sick time, they force you to go into your vacation time (as opposed to time without pay). Then they harass and threaten you with write ups to come in during your previously approved and scheduled vacation.
