Pros

The sales team at Newsday just may be the best in the business. They are the backbone of Newsday Media Group and work tirelessly to connect Newsday to it's readers and local businesses. Jeannine DeCicco was by far the best boss I have ever had. She encompasses everything a manager should be- she listens, comes up with solutions, and is a true leader.

Cons

-salary inconsistencies -uneven playing field -upper management doesn't always understand that you have a life outside of the office

Book of business is accurate to what they offer you for your annual income, a lot of people are retiring or leaving so there is room to make more money, good relationships with clients, freedom to do what you need to do as long as your hitting your numbers, overall great team to be a part of

Cons

No real training, no growth (skilled coworkers haven't moved up and have been doing the same position for 10+ Years even if they are making more money based on territory change they are capable of moving up instead of hiring outside for management)
