Pros

Really interesting product addressing an important problem - healthcare choice and cost. Lots of latitude and freedom in how you do your work. Smart, nice people to work with. Opportunity to make an impact and grow.

Cons

If you're a person who needs structure and a precise to-do list, Nexben might not be for you. No typical startup perks (i.e. they don't have free tap beverages, ping pong, etc. - plenty of other places you can get this, though).

Unpaid. No communication.

Lots of learning about healthcare, technology, and the growing pains of business. Lots of company challenges you get to experience and grow from

Cons

Left unpaid for 24 weeks over the course of 2 years time with no direct communication from leadership of warning. Left in dark. Attempts to communicate with leadership led to smoke and mirrors and no answers.

First, let me say that I'm truly sorry you didn't have a good experience at Nexben. Since the time this review was written, we have more than doubled in size, hired a new, expanded management team and raised funding -- we are a very different company (and we have paid all our deferred wages in full, and then some).
