Pros
Nice work environment. Nice people to work with. Opportunities to move up in company. Always promote from within.
Cons
Does not have good pay. Only give 25 cent raises and those are only given once every six months to a year. CEO told us that the only way we would be able to make any real money is if we went to an oilfield company, so as far as pay goes unless you plan on working at a second job or unless you live with someone that makes more money than you, this would not be the company to go for. You really would be better off going to another company. The hours are also either extremely early in the morning for the morning show (2am-10am) or extremely late for the night show (2pm-11pm). It is a fun environment, but I would say research broadcasting companies and ask questions about pay and raises before settling on one as a job.
