Pros

Cons

Shady No transparency No raises You will train people that get paid more than you People get fired left and right CEO says no money but keeps doing stuff that shows she’s wasting money Pay is not enough for how much you will do They micromanage The customer is always right no matter what The people they hire aren’t trained The people they hire are not even medical assistants They expect a lot from people who have been there a while but will not increase their pay It’s a toxic company They have favoritism You can be the best one but if someone up high doesn’t like you, you will not succeed They only give a slap on the hand if someone gave the wrong vaccine to a patient The values the company claims to have are not aligned to what they actually are

Pros

Pay is transparent Schedule was nice

Cons

Toxic workplace If anyone doesnt like you, then you are screwed. Retaliation for bringing up patient safety concerns or best practice guidelines Big push to make patient happy, which results in overprescribing of antibiotics and steroids They took away retirement matching to save money.

Next Level Urgent Care Response

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all comments seriously and are committed to addressing any concerns raised by our team members. Regarding the claim of a toxic workplace, we strive to foster a positive and supportive environment for all our employees. It's concerning to hear your experience felt otherwise, and we encourage anyone who feels marginalized or unfairly treated to reach out to our HR department, where matters will be handled with utmost confidentiality and care. In response to the concern about retaliation, we want to reiterate our strict zero-retaliation policy. We actively encourage open discussions about patient safety and best practice guidelines. Our goal is to ensure a safe and supportive environment where employees can voice their concerns without fear of reprisal. We also offer an anonymous hotline for this reason. Concerning the overprescription of antibiotics and steroids, Next Level has never pushed the overprescribing of antibiotics or steroids, and in fact has an antibiotic stewardship program in place for that reason. This initiative includes regular audits of antibiotic prescriptions and a quality committee that reviews these practices monthly. Our commitment is to patient care and adherence to the highest medical standards, not merely to patient satisfaction metrics. Lastly, regarding the claim about retirement matching, we have continuously provided 4% retirement matching since 2013, and this practice has not halted. We understand the importance of this benefit to our employees and have maintained it as a priority in our compensation package. We value honest feedback and are dedicated to continuous improvement. If you have further concerns or suggestions, we encourage you to reach out to our HR department for a more detailed discussion.
