Business Outlook
Pros
Salary and benefits are competitive. Deadlines and workload are reasonable allowing for good work/life balance. Management at least at the director level are approachable and generally caring about their team.
Cons
The company now outsources development work to India. This is generally a very bad thing for developers working there as it will make opportunities for growth even less likely. This also effects job security. Most teams are not really driven or even encouraged by management to learn/adapt new technologies/programming approaches. They are content to just keep doing what they are doing until retirement. If you are looking for an exciting place where you can grow as a developer and learn, this is probably not a place for you.
