Pros

Fast growing Many different career opportunities pop up Smart CEO Caring and nice colleagues No politics in the company Lots of hardworking people Selling something that all businesses need, not just want Nextv was a cool idea and I like how they had it every week Referral program helped me with sales Control panel redesign was a big win

Cons

People that don't care wouldn't get fired quickly enough Friday lunches were sometimes subpar Didn't like how free snacks decreased and the bagels moved to Monday instead of Wednesday Some reps would get more leads consistently because they'd start the early shift. Later shifts didn't get as many Office was packed and parking was difficult to come by if you started after 10am

Pros

Decent compensation Catered lunch Good people

Cons

I’m not sure where to start with Nextiva. They lied to me throughout the entire interview process telling me I would be a salaried employee but when I started I found out I was hourly and had to clock in every day. Following that you are trained for about a week (nothing actually relevant to the job) and thrown into the fire. We were told no prospecting/cold outreach. This isn’t exactly true as you’re expected to make 50 calls/day (which isn’t a big deal). Problem here is nothing is segmented and you have about 70 people calling the same closed lost list which is a waste of time. Quotas are almost impossible to hit unless you have a book of business and get lucky with your inbound lead transfers (no equitable system here, all luck) In terms of the good reviews you see here, take them with a grain of salt. I had a marketing person come up to me my first day on the floor and ask me to give Nextiva a 5-star review “as a favor” and you see this exact person commenting on all the posts saying “thanks friend”. This probably violates glassdoors policies and seems at the very least disingenuous. Really this is only the tip of the iceberg as I’ve heard directors call people names refer to workers as lazy and be generally insulting to their workers. Nothing here has a process and it comes down to leadership pointing fingers and harassing their employees. On top of this there is a recent acquisition of a quality product that they’re forcing us to push onto every call we have. Problem here is we’ve never seen it and have no idea what business outcomes these can solve. They attempt to train us by showing the same PowerPoint over and over again.
