Pros

This company has helped me break out a shell, with great sales training, resources, and management that I know will have my back. The company really does care about the employee's, and the atmosphere of the company.

Cons

A little more clerical work than I am use to. Which leads to just a few more hoops that you have to complete daily. Once and a while you compete with our channel partners.

Pros

People are genuinely happy here. My coworkers all have different backgrounds. Departments help each other out. I see tier1 tech support helping the account management team regularly. The company is doing well and growing. I'm surrounded by people that work hard and care about the company. The service and product is used by many businesses and helps the companies. Good perks. Food, software, out of office events, and things like turkeys for Thanksgiving. The office location is perfect for me, I have a 10 minute commute each way. Almost everyone I know likes the distance and location. Parking isn't as much of a problem anymore. There are always people around to help and I get help quickly when I need it. When I send feedback on product requests or issues they usually get addressed quickly. The communication channels are good. Health insurance is good. Nextiva's customers are happy with the service.

Cons

It took me getting used to the Nextiva way. I came from Zenefits and the cultures are different. I think most of my coworkers are awesome or else I wouldn't give Nextiva a 5 star rating. But there are bad apples that I come across in other departments. People that are mean and shouldn't be here. There is so much to do and sometimes I feel like I move at a slow pace. There needs to be a better way to know who is doing what. I don't know most of the people in the office. I've spent 15 minutes thinking about this and I can't think of anything else.

Pros

*Helping other businesses is fun. I prefer working with businesses instead of working with residential clients which I did at AT&T *The Nextiva product is needed for businesses and it works well. If I don't close a deal it's not because the business is not going to use phones anymore. *Training is a pro and con. It helped me a lot and got me ready for this job. But I don't believe there's enough training and there can be more one on one training. *Everyone in the company is approachable. *The office is a 25 minute drive for me. Total. Back and forth. *There are more fun stuff here than anywhere I've worked. Food, ice cream, company party, dress up days *Nextiva donates money to nonprofits. I respect how they do this *Support is in the same building as sales

Cons

*AE's turnover more than they should. Nextiva is probably average in this category *There's a performance imbalance. Some AE's perform well and make a lot of money and the rest are average or even below. It does get frustrating for me when I see leads that I can close go to account executives that are too new or bad at what they do. *Competition is always trying to punch us and their sales people bad mouth us. *The words and lingo is not simple and there are lots of competitors to keep tabs on.
