      Cons

      6 rounds of layoffs in the past 2 years. This company has zero direction and zero leadership. They are a sinking ship. They can have two choices, and they'll almost always pick the wrong one. They are moving to the 100% offshore model.

      One of the most dreadful jobs I've ever had. The workplace culture is toxic and people are treated like tools. It's chaotic and lacks transparency. Your mental well-being will suffer if you work here.

      Toxic Culture and Leaders

      There are some very talented people below the executives.

      This place will destroy your soul. The culture is toxic at the executive level and it is ruining what could have been a great company. The CEO and founder is a dictator and a bully who has no idea how to grow or run a mid-size company. Projects are started without any planning and become over-budget with late deliverables that lack functionality or don't work at all. There is no company strategy besides grow and make more money. There is a disregard for the employees that are expected to work 7 days a week and be treated terribly to try to recover from something the leaders promised without understanding what it would take to get there. The best people have either left or are looking and this is a house of cards just waiting to come crumbling down. People have been asked to return to a brand new office that isn't even functional. There is an inner circle of people who have been promoted with a complete lack of competence for the role, but when you're in, you're in with the founders. What is being sold to potential investors is not possible to deliver in the times being promised.

We appreciate your acknowledgment of the quality of talent that we have brought into Nextiva and will also reflect on your views about Nextiva’s culture to see where we need to improve. Nextiva is at a pivotal point, with ambitious goals as we complement our voice technology with a platform of broader SaaS capabilities to realize our vision to become a leader in communication and customer management. This is a particularly busy year as we transform our business. We have a lot to accomplish with the recent launch of our ground-breaking NextivaOne platform, revamp of our internal systems, and assimilation of the 900 new team members that we have hired in the last year. Our leadership team knows that these changes in our business are inherently difficult, placing renewed pressure on our teams. We are confident that we will come out through these changes as a much stronger company. In the meantime, we do take feedback from our team members seriously to drive improvements. We have just completed our full Engagement Survey, and the results overall are positive. Yet there always is room for improvement and we are working to identify specific actions with our leaders.
