Pros
The tech stack that NICE is creating is innovative and gives a lot of room to explore and push boundaries. Generally, you are surrounded by smart people who want to do well. You are pushed to build cool and interesting products, which makes work exciting (at least to me).
Cons
Compensation does not meet what you would expect from a tech leader like NICE. I do not expect FAANG-level comp, but market-rates would be good. Raises and bonuses have been extremely slim, not even coming close to the rate of inflation, since 2019, and after the Job Architecture initiative (which aligned job roles to titles), compensation was not updated to reflect what employees are doing. Beyond compensation, we are being asked to do a whole lot with very little. In our particular division, we do not have the technical skill in some places to meet the goals being set out for us. The people are there, but there is a hesitation to put people on performance improvement plans or replace them
