Pros

Competitive starting pay. Benefits include health, vision, dental, HSA, 401k matching, and profit sharing. Paycheck never bounced. Somewhat flexible on remote work (see below)

Cons

Honestly, too many to list. But I will try my best. Management is completely out of touch with their work force. Toxic culture has promoted a number of incompetent folks into positions they are wholly unqualified for. People have been ousted for not playing ball with the boys club. High level managers and directors are openly hostile to engineering and have gone after engineers they didn't like. To advance in level, you must fill out an application for your next promotion. These documents can be in excess of 100 pages and will take many hours. You will then sit before a committee who will judge you. It's like a job interview for a company you already work for. When we complained about the work required to fill it out, we were told to consider it an investment in ourselves. It was clearly meant to be a roadblock to promotion. Absolutely no OT offered despite there being more work than there are people to complete it. You are expected to do what needs to be done to meet their business needs. Everyone is stretched thin so tension is high. This results in a pretty confrontational work environment as everyone is out for themselves. IT is a joke and needlessly complex. If hired, expect to spend the next 1-2 months battling for your accesses with little help. All systems are hopelessly outdated. The inventory management system is a DOS program. They teased us with a migration to a new integrated AUD system 2 years ago which has never been talked about since. Following COVID, the company instated a new remote work policy. Different departments were classified as either fully in person, fully remote, or some hybrid version. Recently, it was announced that ALL positions in the company will be required to report in 2 times a week. If you recently took a job that was listed as fully remote then... oh well. Recently, a large number of grievances were starting to air during the monthly town hall meetings. Leadership became very concerned. Of course none of the items of concern were addressed, but the Gas Engineers were barred from speaking in the town halls anymore. Problem solved! There are far better companies to work for. Hard pass on this one.

Pros

Nice base salary, opportunities for overtime, and decent benefits.

Cons

Poor leadership in certain departments. My experience was not good working for this company. I experienced discrimination, inequities, and poor leadership. In conclusion, these events I experienced along with others worked against the moral of employee motivation.
