When I was at NK the company was going through a Lean transformation. During this time, I was able to participate in Kaizen events with the purpose of improving specific areas of the business. These events included people from across the company, which created an incredibly collaborative environment where EVERYONE's opinions were valued. I learned thinks at NK that will stay with me the rest of my life.
Cons
As with any growing company, career opportunities are limited to or unlocked by the rate of growth of the company. Upside is limited to growth so there aren't many rungs on the ladder, but it also makes it exciting because nobody is far removed from leadership.
Small company atmosphere
Great team focused work environment
Challenging and rewarding work
Culture that values everyone
Cons
Career advancement opportunities are somewhat limited because it is a small company. But the company is growing so with patience, opportunities will probably occur.
