-Very focused on the bottom line; if an idea will turn a profit, great, otherwise, it is ignored -Being good at your job at Noblis means you are exceeding at things beyond your daily tasks. This puts pressure on employees to compete with each other. -Managers lack ability to grow their employees. If the employee does not have the initiative and vision for him/herself, then managers are unequipped to provide leadership necessary to show that employee how to do it. -Opportunities are only had if an employee creates one and pesters the right people to fund it. -Competitive culture that takes away from collaboration
