Pros

Decent health insurance. Decent retirement plan through Fidelity. Work can be interesting if you are on the right project. Multiple locations.

Cons

This company has gotten rid of most of the senior staff in attempts to lower the billing rate and entice younger employees. Interns are promised real work but end up having lits of social events with minimal work. Contracts are being lost right and left due to no bench strength. Despite claims of over 1000 employees, reality is fewer than 600 technical staff are bearing the load of about 1000 employees. Overhead is way too high. The new Reston office is nothing more than open cubicles. No privacy, no quiet for thinking or phone calls. No cafeteria, an inconvenient shuttle to the Metro. In general, a place for a short starter job, not for a career.

Pros

Noblis provides a great working environment. The facility has all the amenities, childcare, Fitness Center, Cafe.

Cons

Poor and dysfunctional senior leadership. Often unwilling to listen to staff input, senior management believes only there opinions matter and they have all the answers, especially the CEO and CFO.

Pros

Felt like working for a big family. Everyone legitimately cares about your success and fitting in. Very supportive environment.

Cons

Slow to adapt to new and more efficient ways of doing things. For many employees, this is their first and only job, and many have been there 20+ years, which I think contributes to that way of thinking. Bringing in new blood, new processes and innovative ideas could breathe life into a somewhat stagnant environment. I found this resistance to change rather frustrating and didn't stay long. The world keeps changing and if you don't adapt as a company, you will fall behind and become irrelevant.
