Pros

- Exciting projects, and can be so only if they are challenging while the project organization allows you to take your time and freedom to make something which really excels. - Investment in people. Regular attendance on GDC and GDC Europe, and not limited to them. - Culture. At least with the people I worked with, there was always a strong drive for knowledge sharing. - Free food, and it's more like a kitchen on one part of the building and additional supermarket in the other. Really no need to worry about a single thing missing. - Beer, and not just Fridays.

Cons

I know that it is really unfair to type in "None I can think of." but trust me, i am trying really hard to think of at least one.

Pros

Culture is great! Great learning opportunities - Company really invests in its people (trainings, consultants, indivual mentors) Challenging projects in every aspect (design, art, code) Company is independent - removes burden of thinking about other things than learning and building great games! Very competitive salaries and other benefits (healthcare, food...)

Pros

In many ways working at Nordeus is my dream job, here's why: - work in game development: this is my personal preference, though - work on a product that is (passionately) used by and loved by millions of people - work with highly smart and talented people, very easy to communicate my ideas to others and always learning from them - work in a very informal and relaxed (and fun!) environment, where everyone is highly motivated and well-meaning - no egos, no politics, no "bossy" managers, etc. everyone is equal, and everyone can be heard. the founders of the company are working with us every day, and they are very down to earth guys and always readily available - AMAZING perks, like best equipment, paid lunch, regular (amazing!) team building events and trips, etc. - best salaries on the market, big yearly bonuses

Cons

While we do have fun here and spend time messing around, there is work to be done as it's not easy staying at the top in the industry, and sometimes putting in some extra hours is needed (I'm not talking ridiculous hours here, it's like hour or two extra several days a month) . People looking for laid back job where they'll just sit out every day behind their computer and get their paycheck at the end of the month won't be satisfied here. On the other hand, the work is very interesting and challenging, so it's never hard for me to do it.
