Pros

Nordeus is a super healthy environment where you're surrounded by extremely talented people, who are supportive and encouraging you to grow in every possible way. Opportunities to learn are huge, a lot of industry professionals are visiting the company on a regular basis and sharing the knowledge from their fields.

Cons

Not enough senior people in-house, resulting in being occasionally a bit slow with decision making.

Pros

Nordeus is truly a people focused company. I feel they go the extra mile in order to help its people stay engaged and reach their full potential. With most of the flashy perks of a Silicon Valley startup provided, much more importantly, they haven’t overlooked the basics. Interpersonal relationships are the best part of working at Nordeus. From the leadership and people managers to interns, people are open, friendly and happy to share feedback, mentor junior talent and help onboard new hires. Learning culture is particularly strong and the company does everything to support it. All the resources you need in order to level up professionally are provided in a timely manner with no many questions asked. This includes tools, conferences, books, training… ...basically, anything you need to be able to focus on your work and professional development.

Cons

Nordeus is a completely independent company based in Belgrade, Serbia, and that entails certain limits. For example, there isn’t really a mature industry ecosystem in the region just yet, so hiring experienced industry talent usually involves relocation.

Pros

Good benefits, competitive salary. Really really smart employees. They actually have a RnD department and try to invest in their employees.

Cons

Stressful environment since the last real release is more then 6 years ago and the current product isn't as lucrative as it used to be. Common lay-offs don't make this any better. All the people are really smart, but not always really experienced at game dev.
