Pros

- nice people, to a certain extent - a long history

Cons

-below market salary -below market benefits and PTO -unbearably political with a lot of in-fighting -a lot of people have been there since high school and worked there way up, creating a narrow view, knowledge, and skillset across the workforce

Pros

Friendly and partnership-oriented colleagues, organized, great hours (depending on department), strong cross-functional departments, salary + bonus, fun product to work on.

Cons

Bullying and fear runs rampant, they can't keep talent, mass lay-offs conducted annually, very poor leadership, terrible ideas from leadership, culture of 'put your head down and work', company goals stated and posted throughout workplace never aligned with actions from leadership, terrible office decor (carpet, old computers, old tech systems, they require employees to clean, not only their desks, floors, but the kitchen!!). This place gave a lot of people severe anxiety.

Pros

Great co-workers, decent pay, nice office, lots of free food and incentives to work overtime during busy times. I used to love it there, but it has changed over the last few years.

Cons

Poor work/life balance, scheduling team doesn’t staff properly, getting time off is nearly impossible, they discourage people from calling out when sick so entire office ends up getting the flu, no merit based promotions- you have to apply for open positions which almost always go to those that are friends with managers and need supervisor approval to even apply. There is a strong feeling of favoritism when it comes to awards or applying for different positions. My first supervisor told me that if I wanted to progress to other roles, that I needed to become friends with as many supervisors as possible as those decisions were not based primarily on merit and experience. Some supervisors micro manage to the point where the anxiety and stress levels are very hard to handle. Despite what they say, stats are the most important thing they seem to care about. Call centers are stressful enough but when you don’t feel supported by your supervisor, are micromanaged even when you are a top rep, it makes for a terrible work environment. Also, every second of your day is scheduled and monitored so be prepared.
