Pros

Flexibility in the workplace, great environment, sample sales are fun!, HR is pretty solid

Cons

There is not much transparency in the company, some hidden agendas. Reactive and not proactive - not a lot of fundamental planning.

Pros

Overall positive environment, good benefits, good people, opportunities for growth if you are mobile. It's a great company if you like to work hard, have good benefits, and can tolerate average or less than average pay compared to other like retailers.

Cons

It used to be that you were truly empowered to take care of the customer, using good judgment and common sense. While the leadership says that this is still true, it is only true within the corp box of do's and dont's. Far too many layers of folks in Seattle getting in the way while employees at the store level work excessively. The pay is incongruous with comparable jobs at the competitors.
