Pros

The company offers good benefits and retirement options. The coworkers offer strong support and it is a friendly work environment.

Cons

It is open 24/7 all year long. You have to request time off 6 weeks in advance and most likely it is only partially approved. Discrimination is eminent in the work enviroment. Scheduling provides special treatment towards employees and the call center is a chaotic environment.

Pros

Great way to build a client list. You do have to have some knowledge about fashion and show that you care about trends. This can be shallow but it does help with selling to customers. Overall the other employee's were great to work with. Its a commission based environment so if you work your butt of you will reap the rewards. The best thing is to build a client list and remain loyal to them. I had about 11 Denver Broncos, 2 Colorado Rockies, some Nuggets and Avalanche players that were on my client list with a couple of other regulars. Building a client list and maintaining it is a great way to move up the corporate ladder there.

Cons

Favoritism does occur and no offense to women but the gossip in a retail store is unbelievable considering that 90% of the store is geared towards women. The 20 % discount you receive is nice but not nearly as good as other places. At some Ralph Lauren stores you can get an employee discount up to 70%. Your schedule has to be pretty flexible but other than that it was a fantastic place to work.
