Pros

Amazing people. Great management that understands personal and professional needs. Great incentives and benefits program. Opportunities for advancement and future leadership roles. Exciting sales that generate extra income and assist in making it a fun work place.

Cons

Some of the managers get locked into the positions and are unlikely to move/switch positions making it difficult to achieve advancement. The hours can be difficult especially around Christmas and holidays.

Pros

You obtain outstanding customer service skills that will allow you to excel in future careers. Good sense of family and team work.

Cons

Very long hours during the sales. Nordstrom's flexible return policy will hurt your sales. Sometimes customers can be cranky and treat you like a slave.
