Pros

There is a good discount. It's also a well-respected department store. There is also a good chance of promotion in this company because you can work your way up pretty easily.

Cons

The people you work with can be very superficial, and snobby. This also goes for the customers. The pay is not that great. Also, the support team was never really recognized for their work. They also were not included in a lot of the store meetings, which were not that important anyway. They were pretty much fashion shows.

Pros

The best reason to work there would be if you really like clothes because honestly, the only perk is the employee discount.

Cons

Cult-like environment. Also reward employees based on seniority not performance. It doesn't matter if you are skilled as a "manager" or not, they promote based on meeting sales goals, which doesn't always translate into being a good manager. It is also really hard to get any benefits. You have to put in a ton of hours (you're lucky if you are even scheduled for that many) before you are even qualified for benefits.
