There are people in some key Management, VP and Director position that are not prepared for the tasks. Some of those individuals were promoted only because the company's owner (Marc Garner) was familiar with their faces, but they were given new positions without any training or qualification to perform professionally. Even worse, those guys hire new guys (and, in most cases, "friends") to perform tasks also without proper qualification. Nowadays in NAB there is a big mess and too many "ideas" without "directions" exactly because there are too many "wannabes" and too little "experienced" professionals in most key positions.
As result, it gets very hard to be competent in NAB, even harder to work professionally when your superiors have no clue about how to manage their own duties, and the poor professionals who are undermined but are knowledgeable to do their tasks, are forced to clean their messes without getting any credit for the hard work.
The only way to survive in NAB hostile "bad managed" environment is watching the movie "Office Space" then apply the same procedures here, otherwise it will be frustrations day after day. People are doing it until a better job option is found, and they simply run for it (some people were so eager to leave NAB that they haven't even give the "two weeks notice". That is how bad it gets)!
