      IT perspective

      Pros

      Overall, a lot of the managers are open minded and supportive. In IT they've worked hard at improving processes (agile) and communication. They will provide any software or hardware that you need. They have several company outings throughout the year that are fun. In IT there's ping pong, air hockey and foosball.

      Cons

      Prospective employees should be patient and understand NAB has grown exponentially within the last few years. Seven years ago IT was a handful of people, now there's over seventy full timers. There's kinks to be worked out especially with allocating resources appropriately. App releases for iOS and especially Android frequently miss deadlines. Compensation seems to be below average.

      - Company is attempting to organize in a positive manner - Willing to acquire software and tools to help employees do their jobs

      Cons

      - Awful and overly rigid work/life balance practices - Extremely high levels of micromanagement - Willing to devalue employees' expertise, for no good reason - Terribly uninformed about skill sets being brought on board and how they blend with teams - Some responsibilities are grossly misrepresented during interview process - Communication is overdone in some cases and practically absent in others - Professional employees are treated as if they work in a call center - Completely unfamiliar with how to integrate people who previously worked in professional environments - Hypocritical value system - Far too dysfunctional for comfort - Hypercritical when employees are at fault, providing little to no guidance before and after an instance
