Thank you for sharing your feedback and for dedicating over five years to North. It’s great to hear that you valued our remote culture and your colleagues. You’ve raised a valid point regarding our pace and focus. While our desire to innovate keeps us competitive, we recognize that 'chasing the new' can sometimes lead to a lack of closure on vital projects. We are currently working on tightening our strategic roadmap to ensure we aren’t just starting things, but finishing them with excellence. We wish you the very best in your next chapter.

Pros

Pros: Some colleagues were supportive and genuinely talented.

Cons

Cons: Poor leadership, no product readiness, lack of marketing support, non-functional technology, and zero brand recognition. I joined the Hospitality POS division at North with high hopes, but from day one, the red flags were impossible to ignore—and they just kept piling up. The most glaring issue was the lack of preparation and support for the product. They launched a new POS system with no marketing collateral, website, or brand recognition. It felt like they expected sales reps to work miracles with a product that wasn’t ready for the market. Worse, the technology didn’t work reliably, making building trust with prospective clients nearly impossible.

This was a difficult review to read, we never like to see a one-star rating but appreciate the feedback and take it very seriously. To assist with this response, I turned to David Arthurs, CTO of North Hospitality. David shared the following: "Thank you for your sales and marketing advice. Many changes are happening in 2025 and we are confident we will be able to directly address the sales and marketing issues you have pointed out. As with any new product, it takes time to bring it to market. As a former employee, you would be referring to the pilot phase of the new product launch. This is typical for early-stage software releases with the focus on sales and marketing coming during the actual launch phase in mid-2025." Again, thank you for taking time to provide your feedback and we wish you luck in your future career changes.

Pros

Remote work with supplies provided

Cons

They will dispose of you no matter how hard you work or how good you are. FMLA? They will put you on a warning if you try. Also deep racial issues. Entire department fired everyone of same race in 1 month period.

It has taken a while for our response due to the incendiary accusations leveled against North and, frankly, me and my People Operations team. I can honestly say that our PO Team is one of the most talented, professional, passionate and ethical group of people I have ever had the privilege to work with. Its beyond difficult to not take your review very personally and instead of trying to address your incomprehensible accusations I invite you to reach out to me or any member of our PO Team at any time to actually discuss your views. If you truly worked for North, you know us and know how to reach any of us at any time and we welcome the opportunity to discuss your feedback. Thank you.
