I am always happy when I see our current team members provide feedback as it shows you care about improving the company going forward. I was excited to see your pro's - working from home, COOL management (that was my favorite one!) and PTO. I am sure our new Flex PTO program falls into the Pro column for you as well...its all part of ensuring people can show up to the job and do their best work because they have the flexiblity they need to balance work and life commitments. I wish you could have offered up better than a 3-star ranking and encourage you to reach out to me directly with your feedback for continuous improvement at NAB. We are not perfect, but we are way better than we were even 2 years ago! I am sorry you feel that we have "low" pay at NAB. I will tell you that we have been working in partnership with Lockton's Compensation Consulting group for the past 2 years and based upon everything we are getting from them, we are paying at or above market rate for all positions within NAB. Perhaps you are reacting to the media claims that everyone who leaves a company today gets a 10% increase...but we have given MORE than a 10% increase to our salary ranges and plan to do another increase this summer. We are watching this closely and take this situation very seriously. As for "bad communication" between departments, this is admittedly something we are working on. We get a little better every day, but need to get a LOT better more quickly. We have several strategic communications and collaboration plans in place for NAB, but they are just in the launch phase right now. If you have any suggestions I encourage you to reach out to me or your HR BP directly with ideas, we welcome the feedback. Thank you again for taking time to share your thoughts!

Thank you for this thoughtful review. While we always love getting five-stars, what is more important is getting objective feedback that we can respond to or act upon, so thank you for that! We appreciate your recognition of our innovative technology solutions. We were thrilled to discover recently that NAB was recognized as one of the best credit card payment apps for 2022 (Fit Small Business), one of the best credit card processors of 2021, (Tech Radar) and we won 2nd place Restaurant Smart Terminal Provider of the Year (The Strawhecker Group). We have raised the bar for 2022 and are looking forward to providing even more innovative solutions for our valued merchants. As far as your con’s, you raised very valid points. We have struggled to find new and different ways to connect people who are currently remote and in most situations will continue to work remotely. While we are are constantly brainstorming options, I am excited to share that we have completely revamped our onboarding process to include manager and team touch points in week one AND we are about to launch a new manager training program which will focus on ways leaders can better lead, manage and hold team members accountable remotely while also building a strong, positive culture for their team. We are not done, so if you have any suggestions, I encourage you to reach out to me or your HR Business Partner and share any ideas you may have. Again, thank you for the feedback, we appreciate you!

Horrific Senior Leadership Team

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

There are some very solid, smart, and dedicated people at this business who try to do the right thing...this is all being done in spite of a Senior Leadership Team who doesn't care about the rank and file employees (the CXO is the one notable exception).

Cons

The business owner and CEO is a vile human being who has no regard for his employees, vendors, or customers. He's a bully with no moral compass and his Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer are little more than henchman who do his bidding. The environment is toxic.

I apologize for the slight delay in responding to your feedback as it was so severely worded, and such an outlier from the feedback we have received, I needed time to collaborate with our senior leadership team on the most appropriate response. As you know, executives in a company are put in place to focus on what is best for the employees and the company. Sometimes it is easy to throw stones when you are not the person that has to make hard decisions or when you might not have all of the data that went into the decision making itself. Our entire C Suite is 110% dedicated to doing what is best for our team members and creating a strong, positive culture at NAB. If believe that if we do what is best for our team members, then our team members can focus on doing what is best for our merchants and each other. Our CFO and CAO work tirelessly to ensure that our team members have the best working situation possible. As an example, in the first quarter of 2022 we introduced a Zen Spend account giving all team members $500 to spend on wellness related items AND we are rolling out Flexible PTO to ensure all team members have the flexibility they need to take time off and recharge. These are not “soulless” decisions made by leaders that don’t care about the “rank and file” (by the way, we are not fans of calling our valued team members “rank and file”). These kinds of decisions are completely focused on the health, wellbeing, safety and productivity of our team members. Our CEO is not unlike any other founder/CEO that has to make hard decisions every day as we drive towards their vision but he supports our C Suite strategy and focus on people at NAB. We are saddened that you felt the need to share this severe feedback in such a public manner instead of reaching out to have a conversation with any of us. I want to reiterate that any of us in the C Suite would still welcome a conversation around your perspectives and hopefully get everyone to a better, less volatile place.
