Patient Focused Growth Company

Pros

Amazing ability to stay focused on patient care while still trying to grow and keep costs down. Focus on finding talent (clinical and administrative) and providing professional development. People smile and say "hi" to each other. Career/professional development. If you see a problem, you are encouraged to find a process improvement or to try and make things better. If you are motivated and want to be better, this is a great place to work.

Cons

Not a 1% growth company. If you want to just sit and hang out, not the right work environment.

Pros

Executive leadership is amazing. They always encourage feedback and act on suggestions from employees. I've never worked any place where I felt so valued as an employee. Time off awarded is one of the best I've ever had. And, the benefits are really good and inexpensive.

Cons

There are no cons. I love working here.

Pros

The corporate office is open enough with the short cubicles to see who is in the office and have conversations without having to step in and crowd someone's private cube area. Even with the short cubes, it is still private enough to get work done. Not many companies have a FUN room or gym in their office which is definitely a plus. Good town hall meetings and the management seems open to change when there is good reason for it, like JEAN THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS! Parking in the garage for anyone who gets in early to catch the worm (not just for the people behind closed doors)

Cons

Wrike. Missing cohesion between departments (Although we are learning what each department does in the town hall meetings, which is helping that). Many have the mentality that their individual needs or their individual projects should take precedence over a project or need that affects a larger group or even the whole company.

Thank you for taking the time to review NorthStar Anesthesia. These town halls, along with our after-hours events, encourage communication among departments you may not communicate with regularly in your role. We will continue to host these events to improve cohesion throughout the company. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us to improve.
