      Pros

      Northwell Health is a great place to work. It is always pushing the envelope on what is possible, and employees are encouraged to think differently and make change happen. The benefits are generous, and they have the best interests of its patients and employees in mind.

      Good Salary and depending on when hired benefits.

      Cons

      Terrible and often managers who do not know how to manage with limited knowledge of the system you are working on. Very bad communication from one department to another or even within the same team. Glass ceiling for women. Long hours and often overtime at the last minute. Tight deadlines and are expected to work on many things at once, only to be re-directed many times during the course of a week or even day. With required on-call, will often be called at all hours of the day or night to resolve computer problems with little or no compensation. Employees are often treated with disrespect by manament and very bad Human Resources department. Take any other position you can get unless you are a glutton for punishment.
