Pros

Work with a great staff. Everyone is so welcoming and the employees work as a team.

Cons

Management and the Directors are terrible. They micro manage us constantly it's very uncomfortable especially if you do your work. Literally "Big Brother is always watching!"

Pros

It is convenient to get to work if you live nearby. Parking spots are always available. Health benefits and PTO days are excellent. Excellent for people starting their career without a college degree. Opportunities to advance in education is available. You can register for classes and get paid for the day when class is in session. Class is located in the building. Co-workers are friendly. Communicating with Vendors and purchase order team allows us to learn about the accounts payable processes. Job is great for people who are great with data entry and fixing problems.

Cons

Management is not that great. Work is not evenly distributed. Workers have a negative taste of the job. Favoritism does exists. Micro managing does occur. We are basically fixing errors on invoices to pay out. No accounting involved. Mostly data entry and making sure purchase order matches invoice to pay. Unfinished projects are handed down to new employees or current employees after someone leaves. Some employees work hard and some don't. No consequences for those who don't work hard. No rewards for those who works hard. It is a routine day to day job. Managers set up supervisors to watch employees if they leave work early or talk too much in halls, etc. Receptionist is also watching employees and reporting to management. Attitude from director and manager is, if you don't want to be here, don't. There are others they can hire.

Pros

The pros include salary, benefits, job schedule flexibility and amount of time off. They also give you cash bonus and school reimbursement for futhering education

Cons

Administration can be quite difficult to work with because their main concern seems to be about the money the hospital brings in and less about patient safety and quality of care. They can be reasoned with but usually only after several verbal battles
