Pros

Flexible schedule and very good income opportunity. If you are a go-getter, this could be a very good position for you long-term. Great training program. Excellent accountability. Excellent product. Management is VERY willing to help in any way possible, which is also true about most of the experience reps in the office. GREAT people work for NMFN.

Cons

100% commission. They also do a poor job of letting you know what types of expenses are going to be incurred, and when they are going to take them out of your check. The people at NMFN definitely drink the company "kool aid" wayyyy too often. To them, there is no other place to work in the world that can offer what they can. Although their business model is tried and true, it is definitely NOT for everyone.

Pros

Great training initially, fun environment. Very competitive work place. The potential to earn an unlimited amount of income. Able to make your own schedule.

Cons

The compensation is purely commission which is very hard to get by with in this economy. After a while the training becomes very repetitive and annoying. No diversity in the products that you sell.

Pros

Northwestern can be a great place to work, only if you get the right manager. You can hang your hat on the reputation and size of the company, and be proud of the work that you do.

Cons

Management is a huge coinflip as they can be two-faced. Of course they are all salesmen, so they present well in interviews, and you won't know if you'll be happy there for at least a month. They are incredibly money hungry, so they are stressed out constantly, and pass the buck to you. Lastly, there is a huge double-standard about work ethic there, so the salesmen are treated like Kings, the staff are treated like an expense. The Inverness Group Office in Englewood has hired and fired so many people that every staff member is unsure about their job, and wants to leave.
