      It's all about the office

      Pros

      Great opportunity for after college work. The support pay is wonderful and the amount of support from Full-time Reps is awesome. Great if the agency office is well established.

      Cons

      It's all really about the office you work for. My office is a brand new one. The Director of Operations is completely new and has no idea whats going on. I was given the material to study for my state licensing test, it was up to me to pay for the initial test as well as they money for my state license. They said it was going to be reimbursed, but I'm twelve weeks in and I haven't seen a penny. I was promised $100 a week in support pay, and still haven't received it. It took the DoO ten weeks to get me contracted! It has been a total waste of time for me. I would recommend this internship only to those with a well established office.

      Pros

      Great training and excellent benefits package. Good commission on sales. Easy, hassle-free interview process. Strong emphasis on corporate culture and teamwork. Uncapped earning potential.

      Cons

      Pay is 100% commission, no base salary whatsoever. New recruits must network on their own with no leads, everything is based on referrals. Management pressures new reps to sell to friends and family, which may be uncomfortable for otherwise capable salespeople.
