Pros

Nice work environment and job stability. Decent benefits package. Newer buildings and workspaces.

Cons

Promotions and raises are not given often and when they are it is usually to an undeserving and underperforming person. You are charged to park your car at work, which is difficult with such low salaries. You can't even get free coffee in the office like most employers provide. They advertise the lunch as being "free" yet that is the only way they can get people to take it. Employees are given fish, tofu, or chicken daily and that is all. Don't come here to work just because you were told there is a free lunch.

Pros

The best training, marketing and insurance product there is.

Cons

No margin for failure. I was terminated after only eight months due to "low" production. The opportunity for joint work with senior agents is negligible, they are often not available. I was told that a few years ago I would still be employed but due to new and higher earnings goals set by the group I was employed with, my production was too low for them to keep me on. I never really had a chance to build a client base and quite frankly not many people can do that in 3-6 months. What they don't tell you is that they hire and train a new group every few months and begin weeding them out in the manner I discribed. I seems to be about gaining new clients and overides rather that building a career. You'd better be able to do both in 3-6 months and God help you if you have a dry spell.

Pros

You are the master of your destiny. No will tell you what to do or how to do it. Your income potential is unlimited and there are many bonuses for new reps. Safest financial institution in the entire country, you will never get laid off, and they are always growing! Best products available!

Cons

strictly commission, there is no salary. You have to pay for everything: all expenses, benefits, rent (after a while), secretary, etc.. It's tough for young guys, don't work here if you are worried about paying bills unless you have money saved. There is a ramp up period before you will start to make a respectable income.
