Pros

Great insurance and generous time off. They have vacation time, sick time and personal holidays all in seperate buckets which is nice. Some departments are remote/hybird which is nice but sometime due to politics they take it away without warning

Cons

Absoultely no upward movement. They use your current pay against you whenever you try and bump up to a different grade level and call is 'equity practice' as the reason behind not giving you higher pay

Pros

Benefits and time off for winter break

Cons

Leadership doesn’t know anything about the operations they “oversee.” In fact, leadership consists of people who are given roles without the skills to even lead. They do not value the years that people give to the organization. You’re overworked and underpaid then gaslit when you bring concerns to them. If you’re looking to build a career and actually be treated with dignity, this is not the place for you. Consistency does not exist here. The only reason people stay is for the benefits and the only reason the benefits are good is to get you to stay.

Pros

Working for a reputable name in the industry.

Cons

Leadership and management approach is to identify who you can take advantage of and get the most out of them until complete and utter burnout. A lot of politics and leadership is demeaning and disrespectful to staff. Anyone who is considered a minority experiences this on another level as there is clear and obvious discrimination - whether racial, gender, religious, etc. leadership will do all they can to stunt your growth and development in order to get the most work out of you but also bc they fear for their own jobs.
