      Quality Company, but very corporate and unbending

      Pros

      Fantastic benefits Generally good compensation EPIC EMR is a leader in the field and makes job easier High quality physicians to work with, provide great care They have a sizeable marketshare

      Cons

      Not very focused on physician experience. Physicians are a commodity and not really respected by administration. Administration manages the physicians, as opposed to working together. Physician input on direction of organization limited to those physicians that have migrated to management level and are generally not providing direct patient care.

      Pros

      Prior to letting the vast majority of the IT department go they presented Novant as a place with many opportunities to grow, and this was true as many employees have been with them for 20+ years. Maybe it will be true again one day.

      Cons

      Betrayal of trust and the promotion of a more dystopian society. In December 2023 the executives started a 3 month process to let go nearly all of their IT department. All of their IT department is soon to be outsourced to an India based company. First they want the employees they are they are letting go train these replacements.

      Benefits. Pay is ok to start but raises are minimal after that

      Cons

      Supervisors and managers were constantly being caught in lies and overhead gossiping at the facility I worked at. Huge turnover rate affected patient care but they only cared about money and not the patients. Overall felt like high school and not a professional place to work.
