      Great Place to get Clinical Experience

      - Intense work environment -Clinical setting - Coworkers are generally friendly - Management is good - Skill development - Meeting different people - Benefits

      Cons

      - PAY! - Understaffed - No on call staff, so if someone calls out you will get more pts - Number of pts is never the same, one day you will have 8 pts and others you will have 14 pts, whereas nurses ALWAYS have either 5 or 6. - Not enough Behavior Health staff so you may have a super time consuming/frustrating pt in addition to your normal ones - No defined units, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, hospice, orthopedic, oncology, so you have no way of knowing what to expect: exciting at first, however it gets old fast. - Pt attitudes can fluctuate from very understanding and thankful to obscene, violent, and demanding.

      Pros

      Great company to work for with opportunities for advancement. Taking care of sick, injured, and/or saving someones life and being with them and family while advocating for them is something I love to do.

      Cons

      Sometimes very stressful if you have difficult patients or 2 out of 3 of your patients are declining and you want to give the best care to all 3 and prioritize sometimes with not enough staff.

      Extensively toxic culture that promotes badmouthing employees and stonewalling them. No wonder why your best employees leave and the toxic legacy ones remain and continue to be promoted despite their track record for toxic behavior and no real achievements.
