Pros
None, there are no pros.
Cons
Long hours, no work-life balance. Horrible pay below market standards, some employees being paid below living-wage. Favouritism and nepotism, bullying (managers only reward and promote their friends regardless of qualifications or achievements, if they don't like you then you will be treated like garbage). Expect getting all the blame for someone else's mistakes (see previous point). Managers avoid all responsibility and accountability, they only care about their pay and bonuses. Managers communicate with staff in a patronising manner. Unfair with time off (managers and their friends can have coffee or cigarette breaks any time they want, others get extra work without pay). No career progression, no training opportunities. Horrible HR department, they will side with managers even when you present them with clear evidence of bullying. They fabricate evidence to put all the blame for their own mistakes and errors on lower grade staff and to get rid of people they don't like. Very poor morale due to bad management, high turnover, people look tired all the time.
