Pros

The patients are all for the most part wonderful

Cons

If you have any issues management is completely unhelpful; everyone’s annual review/raises are so late it’s not funny. They change patients hours with almost warning and leave people without hours... but suggest they work the 4 hour patients instead (basically 3 hour pay after you pay for gas). Also while the employer is equal opportunity, a lot of patients are bias- so if you’re of color, good luck getting hours.

Thank you for leaving a review. We agree our patients are wonderful and are grateful for you for providing them with the care they need and deserve. Annual reviews take place on or after each employee's anniversary date with the company. We appreciate your insights and will follow-up with the team in your area to ensure reviews and applicable raises are delivered as timely as possible. Patients decide how often they receive visits as outlined in their care plan. Depending on a variety of circumstances the needs of our patients can change and that in turn will affect schedules for our field staff. We understand that four hour shifts may not be agreeable for everyone, however in an effort to meet the needs of our patients and ensure our staff get the hours they need, we will make those shift opportunities available. We will take your feedback on more personalized recognition into consideration and find ways to share our appreciation as genuinely as possible. We celebrate our differences and are a community that fosters compassionate and genuine human connection with our coworkers and our patients every day. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any workplace harassment or discrimination so please reach out to your supervisor or our HR team if you would like to report a violation of this policy.

Pros

Better working environment than Medicare/Medicaid HH.

Cons

Always short staffed, HR doesn't really do anything about the nurses who always call off, told how to document about "DOL approved conditions" and nothing else. If you make mention of other health conditions you have to redo documentation before you can get paid for the visit.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and taking the time to leave a review. Over the past year, we have been very fortunate to have experienced tremendous growth as a company. As we grow, we are constantly working to remediate growing pains and the demand for staffing in many of our locations. We appreciate your service and commitment to our patients and working with your team through these challenges. Our commitment to the compliance standards set out by our accrediting agency (ACHC) requires that documentation of skilled care in the home be thorough, yet succinct. As a provider for the Department of Labor's EEOICPA, we are reimbursed for our care services and must submit proper documentation for all patient visits. The documentation should support the plan of care and include accurate descriptions of the skilled visit. Our Clinical Education team is always available to help current staff with medical record documentation questions and support. Timely and proper communication to support our teams is critical to our success. We encourage you to reach out to our HR department about not receiving a return call from your manager so we can find an appropriate solution!
