Pros

The salary is reasonable. There are talented people at the company. Wine and cheese event every week.

Cons

NuoDB is a badly run company with a deluded egotistical management that treats employees very poorly and is pushing a product that doesn't work.

Arrogant executives, poor management, overall disconnect, product had issues.

Plenty of opportunity mixed with constant change

Pros

Great corporate culture with a lot of little perks to keep employees happy. Some of the smartest people you've ever met - so many people to learn from. Exciting technology with plenty of potential.

Cons

Change is a constant - more so than the typical start-up. The problem the technology is trying to solve is extremely difficult, and in the past the company has been overzealous in talking about the possibilities of what it should be able to do someday, not the realities of what it can do today, putting pressure on the engineering team.
