Pros

Management cares about work-life balance. The salary is not bad but it can be better

Cons

This company claims to be a diverse and inclusive environment. But some stakeholders are not comfortable working with other minorities.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your review. We are disappointed to hear about your experience and take the advice seriously. Inclusion is an important principle of our organization, and we have began building a dedicated team to focus on creating a world class equity, diversity, and inclusion culture; a foundation of which is in place currently, but look to all employees to share their ideas and their time in getting involved. However, if you do believe that decisions have been made that do not live up to our core value of integrity, we encourage you to speak with your leader or a member of HR, the Legal department, or the Integrity Group. Or, you may use the Compliance Hotline, an online and phone-based reporting tool managed by a third party, where people can raise concerns, anonymously if desired, regarding any behaviors that appear inconsistent with our Code of Ethics. Finally, if you’d like to discuss further, we encourage you to reach out to yourvoice@nutrien.com.

Pros

I enjoy working with the people I work with. Great bunch of people.

Cons

Unfortunately the view on safety at the corporate level does not align with the view of safety at the site management level. A lot of pressure is put on the work force to get jobs done with unrealistic timelines which will result in unsafe work. Depends who you are will depend on your treatment. This goes for daily operations as well as discipline. Much disregard for family life. What I mean is the site management will completely change your schedule in a weeks notice even if it completely upsets your family life schedule and it's up to you to make arrangements......

Pros

Pay and benefits good; some excellent people; successful business

Cons

Terrible work environment and worse communication from leadership. Constant change and little direction or discussion. Unclear and grossly inconsistent advancement of employees. Culture of silos is strong and perpetuated by leadership. Company approach still split between the two legacy companies. Unqualified and inexperienced people in leadership positions for political reasons and the sake of appearance. Extremely high workload and unrealistic expectations despite rhetoric about taking care of mental health. Progress happening to bring the two companies together but is very slow and poor communication and consultation with employees makes it excruciating sometimes
