I Don't Recommend Working Here

Pros

Friendly coworkers. Exposure to a variety of tools. Remote work. Learning/certs paid for.

Cons

Pay is below average for industry. Benefits are average. A 2-3% raise is not enough. Starting to experience more turnover in the team due to constant changes. If you are put under review, mgmt won't make a plan of action for performance improvement. They will ask you to make your own plan of action, and won't even be consistent in following up with you on it. Lack of effective and clear communication between lower mgmt/lead engineers and other engineers. If you make mistakes, don't be surprised to hear sarcastic statements instead of being told the actual problem and being left in the dark. Too many tools being used for the same thing.

Pros

Nice colleagues, at least in our group. Some managers are also good.

Cons

Zero professionalism. You need to be in the inner-circuit to grow. New ideas not much welcomed. You should constantly fight for obvious things.

Pros

-large company -relatively stable -good benefits -lots of locations -large product offering of all brands and varieties -newer facilities at retail -heavy focus on safety

Cons

-no real strategy in place to grow the business -weak employees seem to be promoted and kept - employee turnover is huge, right now there are 45 jobs unfilled - company culture is depressing. No kind of motivational or inspirational events to make employees feel like part of a progressive team. - everyone is left to themselves to train and learn about company systems and processes. - all focus is on margins and share value with little to no focus on the customers.
