Pros

Generally non-manager personnel are willing and want to collaborate rather than silo

Cons

-ASK to see the Culture of Care survey results prior to accepting a job here.... it is very telling of how the majority of employees feel and are being treated -Contact others that currently work there prior to accepting a job

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Since our Culture of Care and Engagement Survey was completed by nearly 15,000 global employees this past fall, leaders have been creating and executing action plans relevant to their teams based on the feedback they received. We were pleased with the honest responses we received from employees, which allowed us to understand their experience at Nutrien and identify opportunities for improvement.

Pros

The benefits are good. They shine with schedule flexibility. The pay is decent than most places.

Cons

Poor management. The decision-makers of any crossroads in the IT Department will decide one thing and then later on will ask why we are not doing things a different way, (Even though we are following their wishes). They say they care about your mental health and wellbeing, but that is not the case. Its a cover for sure. If you being sick is affecting any scheduled agenda that you were initially contributing to, they will hound you for needing to take sick time off. (Not always but have experienced this situation.) The mental health support they provide is by taking away their employee's benefits for Mental health making therapy options unaffordable for the employees. They demand unrealistic timelines for projects. They will hold you to responsibilities that are above your job title but will not compensate for you. They discriminate they way they treat, age groups, if you are single or if you have a family as far as what is expected of you at work. Favoritism is a major thing at this company. Instead of budgeting for resources needed in crucial areas, they budget for higher up positions that we could do with out. I have never seen a company with as many VPs as this one. They throw titles around a lot.
