Pros

A job to work during college breaks/income (this job was my only resort due to covid and not that many jobs hiring)

Cons

1. They said that they promotes fast, that a lie. I graduated and still was an intern. 2. The pay is low. Imagine having a finance degree and making $12/hour. $0.40 first 6 months, $.20 the next. They are cheap. * Overtime not worth it, once I worked 11 hours overtime with my usual 40. That's 91 hours and I was barely paid $1,000. 3. Management gets mad when you want something better for yourself that being not working here 4. Management is lazy, they talk to each other all day. While the younger people work like dogs. 5. Micromanagers 6. They hired me as a supplemental. I didn't get any benefits for the entire time I was there. 7 They say they are giving you low pay because you are an intern, that's a lie, they cheap.

Pros

Employee discount Stock shares Great place to meet local mechanics

Cons

Where do I start? A little under $10 an hour to have to deal with angry customers who think it's your fault that these REMANUFACTURED parts go bad. If you wanted a reliable part, BUY THE NEW ONE YOU JACKWAGON. So many people that come into the store are cheap and always hit you with the "so do I get that 'returning customer' discount TEEHEEHEE". The constant ringing of the phones caused so much frustration, and corporate requires you to answer within the first 3 rings. It's so embarrassing to be helping a customer and then have to interrupt them, and tell them to wait while you answer the phone and listen to some story about how "my cousin just bought a Cavalier...uhhh do ya'll have an aftermarket chip to make it go faster and I also wanted to price some camo floormats for muh' LIFTED EFF TWO FIFTY". The job is a joke unless you're in high school. I only took the job because I was transitioning from military to civilian and used it as a segway until I got a real job. This is a job for young adults that know how to use a parts catalog on a computer interface.

Pros

Set schedule, and flexible hours if asked for.

Cons

Management will not follow up on what they promised when they hire you. Will change your schedule without notifying you and will claim its your responsibility to call everyday to ask if your schedule is still the same. Will overwork you if they get the chance. A raise consists of a few cents only. Absoluty no team work and will get scolded for helping another team member.
