Pros

Usually. Off work by 3:30 it’s a family friendly position offers benefits like medical dental accidental death and dismemberment life insurance and retirement plan. Fast paced work always busy

Cons

It is hard to move up as a woman in this workplace the district manager prays on young female merchandisers and asked them out on dates it is happened multiple times and the regional manager does nothing to prevent it. Sexual harassment reports are not taken seriously. And the pay is less than adequate for the amount of work you do as a merchandiser

Pros

Ability to help customers one on one with their automotive issues. Excellent employee discount program Many good people/colleagues

Cons

More fixated on profits than their customers. Hard to attract and retain good people with the poor wage structure Significant pressure for "add-on" sales that customers didn't always need

Pros

Plenty of overtime, little training needed, and if you enjoy driving you’ll spend plenty of time on the road.

Cons

The pay is horrible for the amount of work put in. There are never enough drivers to cover every delivery route, so many people work long weeks with a rare day off. Schedules are inconsistent. There is no hazard pay, but they make you drive in flood conditions and ice. There’s never enough time to take your lunch. The company brags about how much profit they make while the employees struggle to make ends meet. The raises they offer are insultingly low. The trucks are never serviced. It’s all a mess.
