Pros

The company is growing rapidly and you feel the importance of the work you do on a daily basis. This is the only job I've had in my entire career where the CEO is constantly in the trenches with the front line employees. He cares for the clients, the program, and helping as many people as possible nation wide. I love the team I get to work with every day. The pay (at my level) is fair and I feel valued every day. The program works so it's easy to be confident and passionate about what you do. I have a clear growth plan and am excited to grow within this company.

Cons

We could be better at communicating and implementing change. The benefits package has room to grow but the good news is that it is growing.

Clinicians beware

Pros

Good training, excellent research based therapy

Cons

1. If you want clear evidence as how you will be valued as a clinician, please note from job postings that your earning potential is higher as a salesperson with an associates degree than as a clinician with a masters degree. This also reflects how you will be treated in the day to day. 2. The boys club heading up this company are focused on expansion, the founder is interested in fame and his sidekick business goon is interested in money. They have fired all but two female executives. 3. The only positive reviews on glassdoor are from Jan 2024 and forward because management was incentivized to get staff to post positive reviews. 4. If you have the integrity to challenge the top brass on ethical concerns, you will be bullied until you quit or be fired using false claims against you. 5. YOUR CLINICAL JUDGMENT HAS NO VALUE HERE. Boss-man says "I want to franchise mental health like McDonalds." You will be held accountable for your client's progress but you will not be allowed to do anything other than a prescribed 12 week routine. If you have a client that signed on to the program and doesn't need it, TOO BAD! Sell Sell Sell. If you have a client who needs a higher level of care, TOO BAD. Risk their lives to collect their insurance. CEO literally said "everyone has a rich uncle that can pay for it even if they can't."

Pros

For me, I felt there was good work-life balance and I was able to "leave work at work." The only other "pro" was working with the clients. The changes they undergo is incredible. Unfortunately, with the significant changes they're making to client care I don't know if that will last.

Cons

Please note how many of the positive reviews came within a 2-3 day period. The organization solicited and incentivized positive reviews due to mass exodus of qualified staff members. Instead of hearing the concerns or validating staff's negative experiences, they blame the employees ("they were toxic and not good workers anyway" was messaging given during a staff meeting) and try to cover up any issues by manipulatively saying "but you're saving lives!!" Classic TOATC. I was a huge believer in the therapeutic work they do and began my time adoring this organization. That being said, it's been awful to watch how far the company has fallen since changing their leadership. It's exclusively profit driven, at the expense of client care and employee satisfaction. Read the negative reviews and believe them. The culture is one in which whole departments are let go without warning, changes occur every single week, no input is solicited from the staff, and if you bring up any concerns you're labeled as "not a company person or team player." Unless you're a heterosexual, white male, beware. The company culture is not supportive to BIPOC or LGBTQ people in any way.
